We publish tattoo photographs as reference material. We did not create most of them, and we do not claim to own them. If an image here is yours and you want it credited differently or taken down, we will act on that - quickly, and without argument.

The fastest route: email info@tattooeasily.com with the page URL and the image, and say what you want done. You do not need a lawyer, a form, or legal language to get an image removed.

Removal requests

Send us:

  • The URL of the page the image appears on.
  • The image itself, or its direct URL, so we can identify which one you mean.
  • A line confirming the work is yours or that you are authorised to act for the owner.
  • How you would like us to reach you.

We remove material we cannot verify a right to publish. We do not require you to prove ownership beyond a good-faith statement before we take something down.

Formal DMCA notices

If you prefer to file a formal notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), send it to:

Email reaches us fastest and is the route we act on. We are not a United States entity and are not registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA agent directory, so a notice sent there will not reach us - send it to the address above.

A valid notice must include all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the right allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list where a single notice covers multiple works.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it - a page URL and an image URL.
  • Information sufficient for us to contact you: address, telephone number and, if available, an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

You may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, if you materially misrepresent that material is infringing.

Counter notices

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice under § 512(g)(2)-(3) to the same address, including your name, address and telephone number, a statement under penalty of perjury that you hold the good-faith belief described above, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Federal District Court. Where a counter notice is valid, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We terminate access for anyone who repeatedly submits material that infringes the rights of others.

What we ask of readers

The photographs on this site are reference material for a conversation with your artist. They are not free stock, and being visible on a social network does not place an image in the public domain or grant you a licence to reuse it. If you want to use an image you found here, trace it back to the person who made it and ask them.
