This policy describes what information is collected when you visit tattooeasily.com (the "Site"), what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. We do not sell anything here and we do not sell your data.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT When you visit the Site we automatically collect some information about your device: browser type, IP address, time zone, and cookies stored on your device. As you browse we also record which pages you view, what referred you here, and how you interact with the page. We call this "Device Information."

We collect it using:

  • Cookies, small data files placed on your device, usually holding an anonymous identifier. For more about cookies and how to disable them, visit allaboutcookies.org. What we set, and why, is listed in our cookie policy.

  • Log files, which record IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and timestamps.

  • Pixels and tags, small files that record how you browse the Site.

We also store your choices locally in your own browser - which designs you have starred, and whether you prefer the light or dark theme. That data stays on your device. It is never sent to us and we cannot read it.

We use Device Information to keep the Site working, to understand which guides people find useful, and to decide what to publish next.

ANALYTICS We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. You can read how Google handles your information at google.com/policies/privacy and opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We run Google Analytics with advertising storage disabled, so it is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

ADVERTISING We do not serve advertising on this Site and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on it. If that changes, this policy will change first.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS If you choose to allow notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver them. That involves storing a subscription identifier issued by your browser. It does not identify you by name or email. You can withdraw it at any time in your browser's site settings, and that immediately stops any further notifications.

PINTEREST We run a Pinterest account and use the Pinterest API against accounts we own. We use it to publish pins to our own boards from our own image library, and to read back our own recent pins so that we can display them on this Site with links to Pinterest. We authenticate through Pinterest OAuth.

We do not collect, store or process information about other Pinterest users, we do not act on behalf of other Pinterest users, and we do not offer this tool to anyone else. The only Pinterest data we hold is a list of our own recent pins - their images, titles and links.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION We share information with the analytics and notification providers named above, for the purposes described. We may also disclose information to comply with the law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights.

DO NOT TRACK We do not currently alter the Site's data collection practices in response to a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to see the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct, update or delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will act on it. We process this information in pursuit of the legitimate interests described above - running and improving a site we publish. Your information may be transferred and stored outside Europe.
